Now is the time to start SUFFERING! Or, just pedal around with Mike "Never Sits Down" Cotty.
For now, you have to manually start the video. In the future we will have the ability to start and stop the workout by cadence. There are many, many more features that we are looking to improve in the coming months. The list of improvements is in the article Windows App Integration Timeline.
The first thing you will see is the pause menu. There are a few things you can do in the pause menu. We can use the slider to fast forward or rewind your video. Video cut short? Go back and restart the video where it was cut short. Feeling strong and need to repeat a few more intervals from Revolver? Push pause and rewind back using the slider.
We can also adjust our intensity in the pause menu. Of course, Sufferlandrians only adjust higher! We can also finish our workout if you just got a text message that couchlandrians need to be crushed outside on the road, track, or mountain bike trail.
Now, you can adjust your workout intensity by using your up and down arrows in the workout. Simply press up or down and your FTP will adjust up and down. Your Heart Rate zones will also adjust with your drop in target wattage.
The next thing we will look at is your information boxes within the workout. At the top we have Cadence, Heart Rate, and Power. If you are below your targets you will see a blue box highlighting the area or a red box if you are over your target.
At the bottom of your workout screen is how long you have been suffering on the left and then how much suffering is left on the far right. We have an FTP line built into the workout graph that is displayed at the bottom. The green line will be your power numbers tracing over your wattage goals. If you want to go full screen, you can select view at the top menu button and then select full screen.
There are many more things we will be adding and changing to our in workout display over the next 3 months. Stay tuned as we update this article with each change made. If you have any questions or recommendations, please email TheMinions@TheSufferfest.com .
