The Sufferfest Training System will pull cadence from power meters once you are connected in the Power Meter section first. No need to connect to the cadence section. Furthermore, you can pull cadence separately from your power meter if you are using a smart trainer on a Mac or a Windows computer. We don't have that built for iOS yet.
When setting up your Power Meter it will be displayed on the ANT+ or Bluetooth channel. First, you must validate that your ANT+ dongle is connected and working or your Bluetooth connection is on. We validate those connections are working first, in the workout screen.
Now that we validated that our ANT+ or BLE Channel is "ON", we can move to the Power Meter menu. Select the Power Meter menu and look for your device on ANT+ or BLE Channels. If it is not showing up, then you may need to turn your crank or wheel to wake up your Power Meter.
Once you find your device, it is just a matter of selecting either Bluetooth or the ANT+ channel. You can go to our article Compatible Sensors and then scroll down to the Power Meter section to see which ones we support. Most Power Meters only transmit using an ANT+ Channel. For more information on ANT+ connections click here for the article Connecting ANT+ Devices.
