I fear that I will score too low on the 5 sec power test, as there's no way I can put out the same max power on my trainer as I can outdoor.

Won't that mess up my rider type?

    Hello Asger,

It depends on the type of trainer you have.  If you are limited by your trainer, then that would influence your rider type profile.  What trainer are you using and what are the limitations.

    HI.

I’m on a kickr v.1, so it’s not tire slippage or the trainer’s max power holding me back - I’m not André Greipel 😃

It’s more a question of my ability to get every last watt out is easier on the road being able to stand and rocking the bike.

But I come to think if it really matters that much, as I will be doing the training indoors anyway, so the training will be done under the same circumstances as the testing..?

Yes, you are more powerful outside with the bike than inside locked into the KICKR.  That applies to all trainers.
