If I understand the last paragraph correctly, using the CABLE still will not allow my CycleOps Powerbeam Pro trainer with the app right?

The CycleOps Powerbeam Pro smart trainer is ANT+ but doesn't not work with the iOS version of the Swift and Sufferfest app because they do not support it. They do support BLE or BT 4.0 connections. CABLE can be setup with the Powerbeam Pro to broadcast power data to these apps, but CABLE doesn't allow for controls back to the Powerbeam.

Any idea if this device will convert the Cycleops IC300 units ANT to Bluetooth? Thy seem to use their own standard of ANT?

CABLE should work with Cycleops IC300 after the new firmware update coming next week!

In your review of the CABLE you mention a proximity setting of 1 foot. Would this mean it needs careful placement to collect ANT+ data from a speed sensor on the rear hub, a cadence sensor on the crank, and a HRM around the chest? I haven't measured it but I would imagine that the HRM and speed sensor are more than 2 feet apart (being tall won't help!).

You mentioned leaving the CABLE on the floor near the rear wheel - any issues picking up the HRM signal from there?

    Many thanks

We recommend that you pair your ANT+ sensors within a foot. But you can use your CABLE within 3 meters of your sensors once they are connected. I would recommend zip-tying your CABLE to the handlebars of your bike. -NPE
