Who uses an ANT+ to Bluetooth Bridge? Any Sufferlandrian who is has ANT+ sensors, but wants to use the native bluetooth antenna on their Mac or iOS device. What does the Bluetooth Bridge do? They simply convert your ANT+ signal into a bluetooth signal that can be read over Bluetooth 4.0 .
This devices is built by North Pole Engineering. You can find the purchase information by clicking here. The CABLE Device is just a small sensor/transmitter. You use an app to link your ANT+ sensors and then the device transmits them as bluetooth 4.0 signals.
The Viiiiva heart rate strap is another ANT+ to bluetooth bridge. This device also serves as a Heart Rate Monitor. It was developed by 4iiii innovations. You can find this device and information by clicking here. The Viiiiva is very similar to the Cable except it also serves as a heart rate monitor.
SMART TRAINER CONTROL
Neither one of these devices will convert an FE-C smart trainer signal to bluetooth 4.0. If you are looking for a bridge for the FE-C signal to a bluetooth signal, that is not possible at this time.
